You may have already noticed that.
There is a reason I’ve quit using it though. When I started this blog it was because I thought that I would come back to it and browse the archives for inspiration. So instead of downloading all the pics and having like an inspiration folder on my computer, they would just live here. Free from HD crashes etc.
Well, instead of posting stuff here, I’m just posting the images that would be likely to go here to my personal blog and tagging them with the word “inspiration”. I also added a link to the navigation on my blog so that I can go click that link and see all the posts i’ve tagged as inspiration. Just a lot easier and smoother. Figured I’d share and let you know if you want vintage inspiration, i’m mostly posting it to my personal blog now.
Thanks!
Paul Thurlby: Numbers
I just saw Paul’s work in the Creative Review Illustration Annual 2011, published this week. Really fun, bright, and “neo-retro” designs (as my friend @DavidAngell would call it).
Check more of his work out here: http://www.paulthurlby.com/
PS. An image search for “Paul Thurlby” turns up a great uninterrupted ’gallery’ of work. Good SEO combined with a uncommon name working together fantastically
